Some fresh news.

 

December 5, 2014

  • Based on information I've received from auntie Salka (74) before her death, I supplemented the tree with info about Wladyslaw Zasadzinski and his 5 childreen.

  • New information about Anna (27), Rafal and Adam (106) in Adam & Regina branch

  • I found interesting site http://www.ogrodywspomnien.pl/ and there some enries made by great-grandson of Waleria Skibinska. Maybe thanks to this new contact I will be able to fill in missing details in Waleria's branch.

  • After 10 years several changes:

    - I've completty redesigned all pages and moved them to a new server (at last without advertisements)
    - currently the site has a new address http:/drzewo.mooo.com
    - the Walenty's branch is seriously supplemented according to information from several sites in internet
    - there are several changes in Apolonia's branch

  • Finally I found some time and actualized pages with photos I received from Grazyna a month ago.

  • From my mom I received a portrait of Regina and Adam. It was in a very poorcondition but fortunately I managed to scan and repair it.

  • I simplified a little the design of pages and removed almost all double photos

  • Some new photos in Persons not yet "identified" section

  • From my mom I received a photo and on the basis of the sign on its back I completed a little Walenty's branch. We know Marta had a husband Robert and a son Neil. Neil married Shirley Georgette.

  • A little correction - Apolonia has returned to Poland not in 1914 but before 1913 – Irena was born in Poland in 1913

  • We know Stefan's (14) childrens' names: Zdzislaw, Bronislawa, Stefan (has a wife), Teresa and Krystyna

  • Ewelina's husband (50) Jozef Szpek was an air force officer (major?)

  • Ewelina's sons (50): Roland (61) not  Romuald and Ernest (62) (air force pilot)

  • Danek (40) means Daniel

 

12 October 2003

  • Aunt Salka (19) after the death of her first husband Tomasz Grzywaczewski she got married to Florian Grupinski and they live now in Pila. I have got her address.

  • Cecylia's (03) grave is in Bydgoszcz, Bielawki District. The funeral mass took place in the church in Markwarta Street.

  • Katarzyna (4) lived in Powalkowice. She had got a son - Stanislaw and a daughter. We know that Stanislaw (21) around 1945 went fishing with Stanislaw - his cousin. At that time Katarzyna had got two children. Stanislaw - Katarzyna's son became a sacristan in Bialotarsk.
    Alicja Szpojda (45) lives in Wloclawek somewhere near St. Stanislaw church. She might know something about Katarzyna since she used to visit her in Powalkowice.

  • Jozefa Zasadzinska, Wojciech's (01) wife lived in Swiech District somewhere near the forest.

  • Walenty (05) with his wife Wladyslawa came to Wloclawek for a short period shortly after World War I. Walenty bought a house at Wspolna Street for his sister Regina (07) and her husband Adam (08) and then he returned to USA. It had to be before 1930 - as Stanislaw (21) was born in that house.

  • Adam Grzybowski (08) was born in Lodz. His father was a shoe-maker. Still we do not know any more. Adam worked in Bialotarsk for Mr. Jaskolski (was it his family?). In 1918 he joined the army and took part in the Polish-Russian War. He was seriously ill - had cholera and typhoid fever. After the war he met Regina. They got married in 1929. Their wedding party was organized in Apolonia's house at the corner of Wilcza & Dluga Street. Adam and Regina moved to the house at Wspolna St. which Walenty had bought for them. Their two sons were born there: Stanislaw (21) in 1930 and Edward (my father) - in 1937. In September 1939 they escaped from Hitler's army to Jaskolski's place to Bialotarsk and then to Rebowo. Regina died of cancer in 1948. Adam got married for the second time to Janina and had one son - Jozef. Adam worked for 20 years at Szwarc's casting house. Later drove doctors by britzka. Adams mother has lived in the house at Wspolna street with Adam, Regina and their sons Stanislaw and Edward. Later when Regina died and all others started to work and nobody could not take care of the old lady, Adam took her to Tulibowo to his brother Zygmunt. Soon she died. Her grave is located in Gorny near Wloclawek.
    Adama Grzybowski's siblings:
    - Zygmunt 
    - second brother- one thing we know about him is that he drowned
    - Stanisława – she had a husband and one son (they live probably in Gryfino)
    - Zofia –     she lived somewhere close to Vistula river, she was very like her brother Adam, she often visited Adam.
    - Waleria – had 4 or 5 children, she lived somewhere on the other side of the bank of Vistula River

  • Leokadia (16) had got a daughter Leokadia borned in February 1931. A little Leokadia died when she was 1,5 year old in October 1932.

  • Tadeusz (24) had two children. They live in Jozefow near Wloclawek.

  • Parada's (17) grave is located in Wloclawek, down to the Jozefa Zasadzinska's (01) one.

  • Marta (12) had a son Nel (71)

  • Zygmunt's (09) grave is located somewhere near Tulibowo. Zdzislaw (25) or Jan (23) should know the details.

  • I have received some old family photos from Grazyna (43). I need to scan them and update web pages. I have no time but maybe I will find some hours to do that.

  • Auntie Helena (13) has passed away. My call was answered by Christina (72), Marta's granddaughter (12). I have Christina's address.
